I believe photography is about capturing the joy of life. It doesn't take long to realize time goes way too fast. Document it with the loves of your life. It should not be stressful, it should not be about losing weight, it should not be about the coolest location, and it should not be about how you look to others. It should be about you having a good time, having a coffee or beer and swinging your kids or kissing your new wife -- only to remember years later that sweet moment and the very good light.  I don't follow the "standard" professional relationship with my clients and would much rather be friends. My favourite thing to capture is love, but I also enjoy the small giggles that come from little ones.
